Denise Martin, AEP®, CTFA
Denise is a veteran in the field of trust and estate services in the western United States with over 35 years of experience managing high-net-worth relationships. Denise’s experience includes managing post-death administration of high-profile clients for San Diego County’s largest legal firm and several national bank trust companies located throughout the western United States.
Currently, Denise is responsible for securing and managing the intake of new trust and investment management relationships transitioning to First American Trust. She provides expert advice and counsel to potential new clients, assists them with all aspects of their financial and estate planning, and ensures a smooth transition for successor trusteeship to First American Trust.
Denise holds a B.S. in Management from University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the University of San Diego, Paralegal Studies. In addition, she has earned her Certified Trust & Financial Advisor credential from the American Bankers Association and Accredited Estate Planning credential awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
Denise is a member of the San Diego Estate Planning Council, the North San Diego County Estate Planning Council, the Probate Attorneys of San Diego Association, the Children’s Hospital Estate Planning Council, and the Jewish Community Foundation Estate Planning Council. Denise has two adult daughters and is an active cyclist and triathlete.
