With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Wilcox continues to enrich his passion in the investment management industry and takes pride in offering our clients superior customer service. As a portfolio manager with First American Trust he is responsible for managing client portfolios, performing research and setting investment policy. Previously, he was the lead analyst for the Financials (Banks/Brokers/Asset Managers) sector. Prior to joining First American, he worked at a bond trading desk, trading fixed income securities (i.e., corporate bonds, CMOs- collateralized mortgage obligations, government and municipal securities). Mr. Wilcox was a commissioned artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps and traveled to the Far East during his term of service. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts. He is active in the San Diego community by volunteering in various literacy programs. Mr. Wilcox has been with The First American Family of Companies for more than seven years.

Beginning July 1, 2010, First American Trust will no longer participate in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. As a result, after June 30, 2010, funds held in non-interest bearing transaction accounts and IOLTA accounts will no longer be guaranteed in full under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program. However, these accounts will be insured up to $250,000.00 per depositor under the FDIC’s general deposit rules.
