First American Trust takes the security of your personal information seriously. That's why we have initiated a secure, encrypted solution that will protect your private information when we communicate to you via e-mail.  When we send e-mail to you that contains information that might be of value to identity thieves and other malicious types, we use an "encrypted envelope." You will need to perform a one-time registration the first time you receive a secure e-mail from us. The link below will help you become familiar with the new system.

Beginning July 1, 2010, First American Trust will no longer participate in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. As a result, after June 30, 2010, funds held in non-interest bearing transaction accounts and IOLTA accounts will no longer be guaranteed in full under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program. However, these accounts will be insured up to $250,000.00 per depositor under the FDIC’s general deposit rules.
